Today, everybody thinks about green environment. There are number of simple methods to save energy. The “little Dolphin” by Huiling LI is one among one good option. “Little Dolphin” is an innovative concept designed by Huiling Li from China. It’s submersible in the form of little fish, which fits over the Oxygen Machine in the tank. The water wheel type mechanism inside the “Little Dolphin” turns and generates electricity, which is then used to power a clock and temperature gauge.
There is a lot of mechanical energy created in fish tank and it would be waste later. But the “Little Dolphin” makes use of this mechanical energy and work as a temperature monitor and a feeding time indicator. When the “Little Dolphin” is connected to the oxygen machine, the air bubble makes a wheel inside and Dolphin body rotates. Kinetic Energy that’s created from this rotation gets converted into electricity and gets stored in an internal battery, which can be use for later function. Sounds pretty cool, huh!
