Designer: Mehdi Hidari Badie
For congested city spaces, a time will come when small will be beautiful. Mehdi Hidari Badie has realised this and the mobile home designed by him is surely the house of the future. It is based on the theme of extracting greatness out of small spaces. The mobile home (yes, it has tires attached to it) makes use of steel, aluminium, thermoplastic insulation for protection from extreme conditions of weather, and recycled plastics. It is easy to transport, and can be unfolded into an aesthetic home which has all the comforts of a conventional home.
What’s unique?
The sense of the house that uses solar energy to run, can be carried around easily. The aesthetics are truly remarkable.
It also has solar panels on top for making use of free and renewable energy.
The design is such that even the solar panels can be folded inside for safety purposes.
The house when folded completely looks so small that you will be left surprised thinking about the functionality it offers when fully open.
