Designed by Romanian designer Vlad Icobet for Electrolux DesignLab 2009, the “Egg” is an all in one cooking unit that appears to be a giant egg and opens like a flower allowing you to prepare meals. The wings when opened provide a cooking surface, a place to prepare food, and a washing facility. Not only this, this stylish kitchen also includes an interactive holographic projector which allows the user to find information online, serving as a helping hand by providing recipes and cooking instructions. When not in use, the Egg can be easily stowed to save space. Now that’s what you call an innovatively futuristic modish kitchen!
