Storing fruits, vegetables and food items are rapidly becoming a severe problem these days resulting in high wastage of food. To get rid of this problem, France based designer Julien Boucher created CEL-R to offer three times extra storage than a refrigerator.
Consumers demand food for all seasons, and are extensively buying and storing fruits and vegetables at short-term, which leads to excessive use of a refrigerator resulting in food waste. But, CEL-R has been exclusively designed to store regional fruits and vegetables that can be used for long-term usage.
CEL-R works on a special mechanism that uses an evaporation technique to provide appropriate temperature to the food items keeping it fresh and healthy. Furthermore, it features separate sections to store long-term food items, short-term food items, mid-term food items and aromatic herbs.
