Chameleon LED Lighting strip lets you take charge of ambient lighting through your smartphone

Ambient lighting has never been as important in home
lighting as it is today. Not only does ambient lighting take away the stress of
having to illuminate very corner of the house with appropriately sized lamps,
it also helps set the mood for relaxation, parties and even fun date nights at
home.

However, the problem with most mood lighting solutions available
in the market at the moment is that they require the homeowners to maneuver
through a series of switches and controls to get it just right. And that can be
quite a mood killer when your date wants you to sit close to them instead of fiddling
with the light controls.

That is where this new LED ambient lighting strip called the
Chameleon comes into play, developed by designer Peter Lakits, the lighting
allows users to create mood lighting in a choice of over one million colors
without having to ever leave their seat.

You see, the lighting solution comes with an Android or iOS
smartphone control system that allows users to remotely control their lighting system.
The LED strip itself comes with an adhesive back that allows the 10-foot long
light strip to be attached to any surface like walls and even ceilings to create
custom lighting schemes.

Once connected to the phone over Bluetooth, the lighting strip
can be set to loop on a certain combo of colors or just provide a soft glow in
a unique color. The LED strip would be retailed at $79 when it hits the market
though it would cost you just $59 if you pledge its fundraising efforts on FundAnything.
