Classy Cervantes chandelier made out of old oakwood wine barrels

Cervantes Chandelier

Created by StilNovoDesign, this elegant lighting product, the elegant Cervantes Chandelier is made up of the staves of an old oakwood French wine barrel and a metal hoop that have been beautifully juxtaposed to create a unique chandelier.

The oak staves appear to be a richer golden in color on the side facing inwards, whereas the outer side has a reddish color owing to the wine stains on the barrel – creating a rich shading effect. The ends of the staves are given a clean finishing and polishing while the metallic hoop is coated with a smooth black color. This has been done in order to match it with the black-colored inner light fixture of the chandelier that has 5 goosenecks to endow it with the characteristic look of a chandelier.

The color of the Cervantes chandelier can be customized to suit individual preferences. Wood is a great material that can easily be recycled due to the richness of its texture as it matures. By reusing old wood, we are helping the cause of deforestation and reducing carbon footprint as well. It is remarkable to see what all can be done with re-purposed material, that is both useful as well as environmentally friendly.
