A toothbrush with no signs of bristles and promising to leave behind shiny white teeth will appear as a lame gimmick to us, but for Fabio Dabori, it was a tangible concept. Giro Sponge is an unconventional toothbrush which manages to keep bristles aside and fits a small sponge on the brush-head. The powered teeth-cleaner will be kind to sensitive teeth which can’t take the friction of bristles. Be it a 3 year old toddler or your grandparents, the toothbrush claims to be of use for people of all age-groups. The maker who has hatched from the land of Brazil suggests that Giro Sponge could be used for cats and dogs too. I think this could be an amazing polishing tool for concave surfaces, but what about the gaps between the teeth and gums? It makes me wonder if dentists would accredit this concept, but kids will surely love this for it has cute replaceable heads. With patents on this idea up his sleeves, the maker hopes to convert this concept into actual retail units.
