Cocoon cookie tin makes sure you stay in touch with your dear ones

In the rush of live, we usually forget taking time for your loved ones and call them. Ingenious people at Technische Universiteit Eindhoven, University of technology have come up with something that’s gonna take the storage designing to whole new levels and help you keep in touch with your loved ones. Hailed Cocoon, its an interactive cookie tin that’s a part of the project ‘My cup of Tea’ started with the aim to make a food storage device for aged singles. Coocon is a food storage device that performs different tasks besides storing that too proficiently.

Helping elderly people maintain their long distance relationships and reduce the feeling of loneliness, this interactive tin has the stickers that contain all contact information written personally, attached to the circles and the amount of time is set. After a set amount of time without contact, the light behind the information on this certain contact gets brighter, conveying you the message that it has been long since you called your near ones. When you make the call, its recognized by the number recognition box, the light turns off again. As soon the person makes contact with a person connected to the box, cocoon smartly senses and its lock opens letting you take out the cookie and enjoy the conversation. Also, there is a button beneath the box that helps the user refill and make cocoon perform other tasks than phone conversations too. Why eat cookies alone?
