Moving out of our family abode, my brother set up home in his bachelor pad. After the initial spirit of freedom wore out, ground reality hit him hard. Chores that he took for granted now hounded him all the time. Life with a family and living alone are two different ball games. Hearty gourmet meals are replaced with instant noodles, and the laundry almost never gets done. Understanding this need to be fastidious in an uncomplicated way; designer Der Alleinwohner has a suitable solution with the Ironing-Table. It marries together a coffee table and an ironing board for convenience. The design integrates a cup holder to hold a beverage as well as sufficient space to store the iron. All in all, now I can picture my brother catching his favorite game, swigging a beer and doing his laundry; all at the same time! Sounds swanky!
