How many times you see automotive parts lying around and are all set to be dumped? Well, we all have come across such a scenario, ain’t it? Check out the contemporary metal wall clock that is crafted out of the spare automotive parts and tubing.
The clock looks simply unique. When the battery stops working you can unscrew the automotive gray round part of the clock and replace it with a new one. The clock might appear cool to some but then there might be many out there who would not want to hang the clock on the walls of their room.
Personally, I find the clock just so inimitable and would love to see the clock hanging on the wall of my living room. The particular edition of contemporary metal wall clock is made entirely from RR fish tie plates and found objects.
The collection includes 100 clocks, each unique in its own way. If you all are aware, the RR Plates are the things on the railroad tracks that the rails connect to, taking these objects, the designer has crafted the clocks of varying range. The clocks come in different sizes, each rectangular in shape and comes with holes for the RR spikes to go through. A half inch box has been welded to the backside to float the piece and protect the clock movement from being pressed against the wall.
The designer collected different plates and added interesting found objects or ‘baubles’ to each clock. Don’t know how the designer came up with the idea to craft the time pieces with the left out objects but the end result is simply amazing.
