Anyone who takes a glimpse of the chair pictured here would feel like knowing more about it. If you’re the one who’s interested then read and roll on! 23-year-old Indian artist Puneet Gupta has designed this striking chair with water pots at its back. The chair is known as 0.76 degrees which sounds bit unusual till the time you know the reason as to why the designer has given this name to his beautiful creation. The reason is that the average surface temperature of the Earth since 1950 has risen by 0.76 degrees. An art installation of water pots at the back is what adds to the lavishness of the chair. As y’all can notice, the steel pots put at the back of the seat are arranged from top to bottom decreasing in size and the numbers of taps that increasing. To conclude in one line, this creative piece of home furniture is the comment on the scarcity and growing impurity of drinking water around.

The designer says:
When I was designing the chair, I wanted to show the striking difference between ‘perceived reality’ and ‘actual reality’ that exists in today’s world.
