Designed by Barbora Tobolova, Ecothink is a great new gadget that displays the energy being consumed enabling us to lower it down. Apparently, a single tree produces 4.5kW/hr of energy and based on which the amount of energy consumed is calculated and depicted in red color, while the green color depicts how much of the tree has been cut. More number of trees cut not only depicts the destruction caused, but it also makes us realize that we can work on decreasing out electricity bills as well.
Green living is becoming a valued trend for which long term green solutions are put into practice all over the world in each and every aspect of people's lives. Small beginnings are the key, and Ecothink is that small beginning, which basically tells us how many trees are lost based on the energy we consume. Ecothink makes a consumer aware of their energy demands and makes us more responsible in deciding whether we choose to reduce our consumption and destruction which ultimately benefits us.
The technologically sound design of Ecothink could offer a few more green functions that would definitely make it more desirable irrespective of the cost.
