Electrolux wins 2009 award for excellence in sustainable design

Surely, y’all have been introduced to the sustainably smart electronics pictured above. Latest update is that Electrolux, well known for offering the ‘best of the rest’ home electronics has won the 2009 Award for Excellence in Sustainable Design in Standards Australia’s International Design Awards. Addressing a range of environmental issues through design, Electrolux refrigeration collection 2008 has been applauded for the best merge up of sophisticated design and environmental performance. All 14 energy –efficient models in the collection show how design can effectively address functionality, aesthetic quality and affordability in a product that potentially has a significant environmental impact.
