In the coming years, our traditional clocks won’t remain the same. By this statement, I am not trying to offend their talent of telling time. The clocks will keep you updated with time, but without any hands, if we have designer like Bram Knaapen. The designer brings his latest creation hailed the “Equinox Clock” that is an Arduino based creation. Saying goodbye to the hands system, this clock tells the time with the ring of LED displays on the walls.

Circular in shape, the clock works using Arduino mini Pro connected to the first of total of 12 black circuitboards. The circuitboard has 5 connectors for the white LED circuitboards, and the Arduino receives the current time from the DS1307 and calculates the color palette according to the time of day using HSV color space. Pretty interesting way to keep track of time.
