Haier's WasH20 soap free washing machine, cleaning goes hi-tech

If stain free, germ free and odor free washing was not enough to tempt you, then you can try the new soap free and detergent free washing. The Soap Free washing machine, known as WasH20, is launched by Haier who claim that it can make your clothes look fresh and as new as ever before without using a pinch of soap. The detergent less machine works by breaking down water molecules into OH- and H+ ions involving a whole lot of chemistry where the stains on the fibre are attracted to the OH- ions and the clothes are sterilized by the H+ ions. Although the concept sounds lucrative, but for $957 how good is it a deal is still ambiguous.
