Interactive tiles for a hi-tech home!

Pictured here is the techie I-Quad concept, which is made up of several LED-lit tiles on a frame which displays time, weather, news, e-mails and images, all with the help of USB or Bluetooth-connected gadgets. Soo-Jin Chou, Young-Hee Cho, Young-Kuk Oh, Oh-Jae Kwon and Kue-Hoo Hwang are the great minds behind this cool concept interactive tiles.

What’s different? A gizmo like I-Quad that lets you communicate is certainly not run of the mill. Each tile is capable of a low-res, almost dot matrix-like resolution. From communication, entertainment to even ambient lighting, it can essentially display anything. Adding to the cool factor is a low-res, almost dot matrix-like display.
