Latest Geneva Lab Furniture Music prototype at ICFF

This prototype was the center of attraction at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair between 17th and 20th May. It comes from the shelves of Geneva Lab, a team based in Switzerland, renowned for the production of superior quality audio and vision products, with special emphasis on ‘furniture music’.

So what does the prototype consist of?

• Four midrange 5.5" speakers

• Two tweeters in the center cabinet

• A 12" subwoofer on the left

The cabinet boasts of great sophisticated looks, thanks to its MDF hand-painted exterior coated 11 times with black/ white lacquer and iPod dock on top left. There is a convenient cabinet to gold A/V accessories. Certain work regarding the grills is still in the trial stage. It will be some time before we find out whether the grill systems will be inset as it was in the iPod sound system. However, it is certain that the quality of the grills will be as good.

The gadget will hit the markets sometime in October and will have a price tag of $3500.
