What is it?
Who thinks about turning the good old household mirror into a technological wonder? Well, most of us don’t, but some students of Department of Interaction Design at Chalmers University did the same and gave the mirror a new look that was interactive.

Features
The innovation brought by them provided the old mirror the ability to show current time and weather information. A tooth brush timer is also there to help kids take their time while brushing teeth.
How does it work
They embedded some Arduino-driven LED displays behind the glass to make a two way mirror. Now, whenever you swipe your hand against the pair of embedded light dependent resistors, the display gets activated and frequent swipes make the mirror display the information.
What’s in it for me?
While the time display will help you keep a count on how much time you spend inside the bathroom. The toothbrush timer will come handy for mommies to encourage the kids to brush teeth for the correct duration as the timer will be in front of their eyes while they brush.
