Generally, we wouldn’t tend to call something as unattractive as a fire extinguisher 'hot' unless it was on fire. But that was until I laid my eyes on this absolutely sumptuous model created by designer Piotr Woronkowicz. Reinterpreting the extinguisher in a serene white and red color combination, the designer aims at making it an integral part of any kitchen setup so that homeowners are not keen on hiding it away in a secluded cabinet where it could potentially be rendered useless in case of an actual emergency. Conceived and created in collaboration with the German home appliance manufacturer Miele, the homely looking extinguisher incorporates an easy to operate design which focuses on quick and easy functionality as well as incorporating a sense of ergonomic aesthetics within the design that will allow it to blend in with any kitchen or home décor.
