Books with various themes and stories have inspired, enthralled and shaped us to such an extent that we sometimes cannot live without books. Would it not be a great idea to create patterns inspired from books to decorate your living space so that you are always reminded of the wonderful inspiration derived from them as you carry on with your life?

The books are carefully created by the designer herself and are crafted after removing the pages and using specially selected fabric and handles. There are quite a few books on ‘ The Enlightenment’. Many of us would have been enlightened as well, as we went through the pages of these books. How about transforming this enlightenment into a truly meaningful and tactile version? The Enlightenment Bookshelf Lamp has done just that. Created with plexiglass, the book lamp is shaped like a book with the inscription ‘The Enlightenment’ on the cover. A nine watt energy saving lamp illuminates the book from within. For maximum effect, the bookshelf lamp can be placed in between some hardbound books or can even be placed as a night lamp in your bedroom. The bookshelf lamp costs about $ 130, out of which 10 percent of the proceeds are transferred to educational charities.

When you open the book, the vase with the flower, too spreads its branches to the front of the book. A very green concept which can be done by anyone with a bit of patience and creativity, this book creates a fresh and green space on your book shelf. Just make sure that you use indoor plants or place the Live Book in a place where there is plenty of sunlight.

The workaholic pillow or a book pillow is nothing but a comfortable pillow which has a hardcover that can be folded like a book to create the impression of a hardbound book.
