Overview

A furniture's utility value increases when it occupies less space without compromising on its functional aspects. Dutch designer Reinier de Jong has come up with the same idea in the form of an elegant and sober REK coffee table adjustable according to the needs of the user. The table has three independent sections, which help it to slide alongside. It’s a great fusion of aesthetic and ergonomic features. It has well finished surface with wood and has different dimensions at different extended positions.

What’s unique

The wooden surfaces slide on each other because of independent sections to transform the table to create different surfaces to use. These surfaces can be folded easily and compacted into a table again. The REK table is perfect for entertaining guests as you can easily pull out panels to create extra space for snacks and other eatables.

High points

The table has a classic look with modern features. It is very well configured and compact in size, hence easily portable to any room inside the house.

The sliding features make it all-in-one, as it can be used as a coffee table and storage rack for your books and study material simultaneously.

The top surface and sides of REK are finished with oak, berch and beech. The dimensions are 60 by 80 cm.

It can be extended to a maximum length and width of 170 and 130 cm respectively, so it grows with your needs.

When you have a lot of guests, all you need are extra chairs because this table alone will hold the ground.
