As a solution to those painful injuries, amputation risks an Australian inventor; David Asher has come up with a unique door-hinge design. The Finger Hinge is a full-length door hinges eliminating the gap between the door and the wall make sure that the fingers don’t get cramped when the door is closing. Made by combining the butt and pivot hinges, it fits on the doorjamb and door edge just like a conventional hinge and does its job proficiently. Also, this enables physically challenged people/elderly to simply open the door away from them and not having to close it.
