Sewing machines have not seen any drastic changes in their design and functioning but that doesn’t mean that their future is dull. Taking the sewing machine design to all new levels, designers Marlene Lkausner, Gerda Hopfgartner, Joe Muller and Anna Wiesinger have come up with an incredible personal fashion suite that will leave you wide mouth opened.
What’s different? It consists of a sewing head hanging down from the ceiling on a robot arm, an interactive sewing table and a software, which can adapt every cut to the favored body, a body scanner, a special laser that cuts the parts out of a piece of cloth and software that gives sewing instructions, until the garment is finished, the PFSuite enables everybody to make his own individual clothes customized for the own body size and shape. A combo of techie features and smart façade is what makes this sewing machine stand apart.
