Hide and Seat Shower has been designed by Sarah Lloyd, which will create a dry storage and wet storage space in the shower area. The design will act as a perfect shower solution and was unveiled at the ISH 2011 Bathroom Fair that was held at Frankfurt. The inside of this shower features a seat and a wet storage, while on the other hand the outside comprises of dry storage.
Hide and Seat consists of an overhead shower that can be flexibly used in a standing and sitting position. The shower provides complete body coverage as the water flow can be easily split into hand and overhead shower. The side of the seat has been wedged with all the necessary controls which are easy to reach and won’t require much effort.
Apart from this the design features a lot of storage area that can be used to keep shower gels, soaps and other cleaning products. The area is well ventilated and drained to ensure that bacterial and mold growth is kept at bay which may result because of the area being damp. Ample space has been provided, in the form of a deep container, which can be used to store large sized bottles. There is enough room to keep small sized bottles as they can be kept on the high shallow shelf.
The design of Hide and Seat Shower has enough space on the side to place bottles. This space will make sure that no problem crops up while using the area storage area that has been nicely concealed under the seat. Hide and Seat Shower is a compact design that will make good use of the area at hand.
