Portable Micro Grill and Microwave can change the way you eat food on the go

Cooking on the go is a big challenge for most campers. While
portable grills are not a new invention by any stretch of the imagination, most
of them require users to create an open fire or carry some wood chips or
charcoal to fuel it. The Micro by designer Richard Park is a product concept
that challenges everything we knew about what portable cooking systems can be
like.

You see, the Micro is not only a portable grill, it is also
a portable microwave! Yes, ladies and gents, the good Mr. Park has decided to
fashion a potable microwave. Even though it is nearly impossible to imagine how
the designer plans on providing nearly the kind of power that a microwave
needs, we admire the idea behind the concept.

Park proposes that the Micro would feature a collapsible
middle section that could be expanded to serve as the casing within which food
can be microwaved. The topmost shelving of the same unit can be converted into
a portable grill which makes this appliance totally versatile and
multifunctional.

Park hasn’t specified whether the appliance is aimed at
users who would have access to grid power or whether it can also be powered by
a portable solar panel or car batteries though we are quite certain that both
office workers as well as campers would love to be able to have access to a portable
microwave to heat their food up nicely.
