The international team of young designers-Sebastian Jansson, Fernanda Pizà from Mexico, Victor Stelmasuk from Brazil and Natalie Weinmann from Germany have designed a “futuristic yet feasible” shower dubbed Piezo Shower. It’s a self-heating shower that can heat itself independently of an external energy source. All thanks to the piezo electricity generated by fibers through movement and friction thereby heating the water that flows through different pipes! The Piezo fibres inserted into the pipes compose the shower thereby giving it an appealing sculptural shape. The cool traits of the self heating Piezo Shower made it the 2nd prize winner in the 1st edition of the SaloneSatellite Awards.
