SilverStat 7 is inventively smart in-home display

CES 2010 has lots in store for our hi-tech homes. Making the companies feel bad about not having to include the inimitable techie features in the in-home displays to shave energy usage at home, SilverPac has introduced SilverStat 7. It’s a sleek device that besides combining the heating/cooling controls of a programmable thermostat built around a 7-inch touch-screen display running Windows CE on Intel’s Atom processor. It has a Wi-Fi interface that gives the electricity usage information, built-in speakers that play FM radio/music. Also, you can use it as a calendar.
