Small Yurt Cabin by Rotunda Living show how less can be more

Rotunda Living came into being in the year 2011 when founder
Gemma Roe and Aidan Quinn came together to create a range of eco-buildings that
were luxurious as well as contemporary. The buildings designed by the company tiny
garden rooms can benefit anyone who wants to reduce their carbon footprint
and enjoy being close to nature in any weather.

Set up similar to an environmental charity, Rotunda Living
is known around the UK for creating yurts that are high in quality as well as
craftsmanship.

These beautiful mini-roundhouses use wood though they are
made in a way that would have minimum impact on the environment. The building
created by Rotunda Living are inspired by  traditional round huts, Mongolian yurts and ancient
Celtic roundhouses and the principles of Feng shui are also employed to make
the garden rooms feel comfier.

The round-ness of these structures allows them to feel more spacious
than they really are and that is precisely what makes them so simple and
unique.

Each one of the Rotundas occupy around 3.5 meters of space
on the ground which means that they can be easily installed in any backyard,
beach front or edge of the forest if you have a sizable property.

The building itself features a quaint sitting space and a spacious
bathroom. The sitting space can also be used as a den or a bedroom since it
comes with a preinstalled fireplace. Large windows provide the building with
enough daylight during the day so you don’t consume too much electricity when
using the space.

Also, since the space is small and circular, keeping it well
light and warm isn’t too much of a challenge and it can easily be converted
into a bedroom for teens looking for a little privacy or a home office and even
a play space.
