While designing the interiors of a house, the standard practice is to use average measures. Like while designing a chair or table, set measures are used that based on the average human anatomy. Likewise in the kitchen too, the shelves and cupboards follow a standard pattern. Unless specified, generally most folks don’t actually reach up to the top shelf in the kitchen without the help of a ladder or a stool. The Hector Serrano studio believes that it has a space saving solution on its hands. The Bin Step is a very functional piece of rubbish disposal one could have around the house. All kitchens need a water basket and a ladder or step stool. Fuse the two ideas and Voila! you have a bin that is fashioned as a step up. Nothing rocket science about it, but it’s extremely helpful.
