Who says shelves need to be drab, functional pieces of furniture that just do their job quietly without much ado or anybody even noticing them. All that is set to change with this funky, colourful shelf called the DeKast modular shelf. Your home can get a new sense of life with this colourful modular piece of kit which certainly has the potential to transform dull boring spaces into colourful, exciting and lively life spaces. The DeKast stands tall with hollow rectangular cubby holes arranged randomly, interspersed with solid rectangles, and can be accessed from both the sides. The solid rectangles are responsible for the colourful demeanour as they can be outfitted with Kvadrat fabrics and the hollow rectangles adds functionality to the DeKast.
You also could get a little innovative and plonk this shelf right in the middle of a room, thus effectively using it as a partition. If you want to run off to get your home one of these, hold your horses, this is still a design concept but looking at it’s splendid design, we expect it to hit production pretty soon.
