TV watching can ruin academic results…what’s new

With this research, the age-old appeal coming in from parents to ask the kids to switch off the TV while studying, to improve in grades has got a scientific backing. As per the research, kids who watch TV or play video games during school weeks are more likely to have poor grades that the other kids.

Though, it was OK to do that on the weekends. Apart from this, the condition of kids who were allowed to watch the R-rated movies is even worse than the others; this effect was more prominent among boys, though no reasons were speculated for the same. So this means now you have got a stronger reason to stop your kids from watching endless TV and from sticking to that play-station for endless hours…if improving upon the grades is on their mind.
