The mesmerizing pattern doesn’t make the time reading difficult as one may think on the very first introduction. The widest pointer shows the hours, the medium sized pointer ( attached to the hour pointer ) shows the minutes and the smallest pointer ( attached to the minute pointer ) shows the seconds.
